The SPR-513 Mikro-Tip® rat pressure catheter incorporates a curved tip into the popular SPR-407 design for increased access to the rat right ventricle. The SPR-513 is the preferred solution for right ventricular blood pressure measurements in rats and is an excellent addition to any laboratory’s Millar catheter supply. The high frequency response and minimal catheter diameter enhance your ability to collect the highest quality data possible, including the most accurate RV dP/dt values, streamlining your path to publication.
With a Nylon catheter body of 1.5F and a 2F pressure sensor, this model provides increased flexibility for users who prefer a less stiff catheter option during surgical placement.
The SPR-513 complements a standard entry level hemodynamics rat system consisting of the SPR-407 or SPR-320 rat pressure catheter, a modular PowerLab data acquisition system, LabChart analysis software and the Blood Pressure analysis module.
